Seems like I have been on a bit of a water theme this month! I think the impending Summer heat is giving me serious ocean fever 🤣

Adding to the reptilian bones collection, the Plesiosaurus has a long neck, smaller head and larger paddles (fins). This character is super articulated and wiggly. I added the stand as a way to display in a more upright position.

3D printing settings STL and 3MF files are included. * If you use the 3mf file, please remember that it is a painted project file for your convenience. You must check your material/printer/settings to make sure it works correctly for your printing project. I create the 3mf in bambulab with the X1C settings.

I print with .12 or .16 layer height for quality. For the stand, consider reducing infill to 8% to save time and materials. As usual, make sure you have good adhesion, especially the smaller you go. A glue stick works or I have switched to using on all my machines... a BIQU Cryopgrip Frostbite adhesion plate.

I successfully test printed between 60% and 322% XL for this design. But I recommend 60% or larger for the dinos. If you print the minis, consider using the straight stl/3mf for printability.

XL version must be GLUED together with Super Glue. I still suggest no supports, though you may have some "roughness" due to bridging on the underside of the rib bones or toes. This is the super glue I use for all my XL dinos: https://amzn.to/4lYylON

XL version is saved in the 3MF at 322%. The stand will not fit at that size. 322% fits only on the H2D plate. Gradient PLA works well with this model
