Measuring Instructions
Before scaling, take careful body measurements so the greaves fit comfortably over the leg or over costume layers.
Important measurements:
shin length from just below the knee to above the ankle upper calf circumference mid-calf circumference ankle circumference front shin width clearance for leggings, padding, or under-armor
Helpful tips:
Measure while wearing whatever pants, bodysuit, wraps, or padding you plan to use with the costume. Leave a bit of extra room if you want a more comfortable wearable fit. Check that the top opening clears the calf area properly. Check that the ankle opening is wide enough for comfort and movement. Since these are a left and right pair, keep orientation in mind before final scaling and finishing. If you scale the model significantly, re-check the fit around the knee area and calf curve.
For wearable use, choose enough wall thickness and infill to keep the greaves durable.
