These articulated crappie fish were designed with a chunky panfish shape, detailed scale texture, and smooth segmented movement to capture the look and feel of real crappie in a flexible print-in-place design. Two different color styles are shown here since I didn’t have the exact filament tones I wanted for a perfect crappie pattern, but both versions came out with their own unique look and personality.

The segmented body allows the fish to flex naturally while still keeping strong detail and clean movement straight off the build plate.

⚠️ Multi-color articulating prints can sometimes be difficult to print if the build plate is not properly clean. Make sure your build plate is clean before printing. A brim or raft may also help improve adhesion and print reliability.
