Ancient Arbiter - The Sentient Self-Watering Planter
The Legend of the Arbiter: Deep within the forbidden groves where time stands still, dwells the Ancient Arbiter. He is not just a tree, but a silent judge of the forest. For centuries, he has guarded the sacred flora, offering his own wooden heart to nourish the youngest sprouts. This 3D sculpt captures the Arbiter in his state of eternal vigilance—his face etched with the weight of ages, his roots forming a natural basin to sustain life. The Vision & Practicality: In today’s fast-paced world, where we often struggle to find time for ourselves, this planter is designed to be a lifesaver for your busy schedule. My vision was to create a guardian that ensures your special plants thrive, even when you are too occupied to tend to them daily. This competition is a gateway for me to share my unique ideas and passion with the world. Craftsmanship: I poured a distinct passion into this project. It is the result of countless hours—and sometimes months—of meticulous sculpting in Nomad Sculpt. Every detail was handcrafted to ensure a high-definition finish. I have made this model completely Print-Friendly and have personally tested it to ensure it functions perfectly. My dedication to a clear, intricate vision is something you will see in this design and every upcoming model on my profile. Smart Self-Watering Mechanism I have engineered this planter with 3 precision-made holes at the base of the inner pot. To activate the self-watering feature, simply thread small pieces of cotton rope or wicks through these holes into the water basin below. I personally use cotton ropes because they provide the best capillary action; whenever the soil starts to dry out, the cotton wicks draw water upward from the basin to keep your plant perfectly hydrated. If you don't have cotton rope, you can easily use: Woolen threads or yarn pieces. Cotton wicks (used for oil lamps/diyas). Strips of cotton bandage.
