One of the few people known to have survived the process of serving as a Bronze Maiden and retain most of their sanity, Mano's enlarged and tortured body has been killed and resurrected, bled to death, and then irrigated again so many times that their muscles seem stiff under the gray, dry skin. Women in pregnancy fear Mano Altar's name as soon as it's whispered, for this executor of the Order of Penitence is known to have a special hatred for those conceptions unaproved by the goddess, the so called children of sin, which Mano takes brutally from the wombs of their mothers to enslave their unborn souls and carry their bodies to battle in the morning star known as Sinner's Last Chance.
