Spread St. Patrick’s Day Cheers with these Twisty Pint Fidgets 🍻 The ‘twisty liquid’ is secured to the bottom of the pint (or mug) so you can pour or spill it again and again 🙌🏼 I designed two different pints: on with a shamrock and one without.

Instructions for 3D Printing: PLA for Twisty Insert & PLA or PETG for the pint (mug) 0.2mm Layer Height 0% Infill Supports needed on pint handle

Print Plate #1 (Twisty liquid insert): 1 color, Outer wall & Inner wall Width 0.6mm, Arachne Wall Generator, 0& Infill, Outer Wall speed 50mm/s & Inner Wall Speed 100mm/s Print Plate #2 (Pint_plain): 1 color, Arachne Wall Generator, 0% Infill for pint, 25% infill for screw & clover key, Outer Wall speed 50mm/s & Inner Wall Speed 100mm/s Print Plate #3 (Pint_with Shamrock): 1 color, Arachne Wall Generator, 0% Infill for pint, 25% infill for screw & clover key, Outer Wall speed 50mm/s & Inner Wall Speed 100mm/s

Assembly: Insert the twisty liquid insert into the pint so that the screw hole is at the bottom of the pint (will fit into corresponding shape). Insert the screw and tighten with the Clover Ke.

Have fun printing! 🍀 Erin

I used gold silk PLA for the "liquid". Printed flawlessly, and looks great! Question though, are the bottom four segments supposed to be fixed? I see that the very first two are bonded together at the base where the screw goes, but the next two sections won't extend, although they do not seem attached to the others. Just curious if that is by design, or if I need to work with it some more. Thanks for sharing!

Great idea a small series of common drinks for kids. Coffee, tea, orange juice, milk? Whatever works

This model has way too tight tolerances. A problem that I do not have with any other print that uses this system. If you want to print it you probably need to scale it up to 150% at least. Right now it has been a waste of filament. EDIT: I did manage to get it free and used a lot of oil. Now it seems to work.

I bought this model. Thank you. I am looking for the st. Patricks days game with the rainbow in it that you advertise on Insta and TicTok. Where can I find it? I cannot find it in your models. Because I would also buy that. Will be fun to do with the kids.

No just the one with the screw hole is fixed, you need to wiggle it until it is free, I had the same issue with silk I printed in copper silk, looks amazing but got stuck so needed manual labor :D However the yellow PLA I printed worked, needed a little manpower but no issues. @Erin, do you reckon it needs more tolerance? or is it the usual depending on filaments as all change 0.01 one way or another.

I don't know if I did something wrong on mine, but it does not extend out as far as yours is pictured and are bundled in sets of 3
