EDF 83mm EMV - COMPLETE MODULAR SYSTEM - (5-7-9-11 Blades | Multi-Motor Fit)
🛠️ Professional EDF System: High-Thrust Modular Design Third Type EMV EDFs.
🛠️ Professional EDF System: High-Thrust Modular Design Designed by an RC Pilot for true RC enthusiasts. This isn't just a 3D model—it's a flight-tested propulsion system engineered for maximum efficiency, clean aerodynamics, and ease of assembly.
🌟 PROPRIETARY FEATURES: "Shell-Lock" Stator (Exclusive Design): My innovative split-stator housing snaps perfectly around the motor.
Zero-Drag Cable Management: One of the stator vanes acts as a structural conduit for Outrunner Motors! Your motor wires are "hidden" inside the airfoil, protecting them from the spinning rotor and eliminating aerodynamic turbulence for a cleaner intake.
Precision-Engineered Rotors: Unique blade pitch, curvature, and twist designed for high static thrust and that authentic, high-pitched "jet" sound.
Multi-Shaft Compatibility: Each pack includes specialized hubs for 4 rotors type, each both for 4 or 5 mm shaft motors.
⚠️ WARNING: FOR EXPERT BUILDERS ONLY – READ BEFORE PRINTING To operate these fans safely at high RPM, two mandatory mechanical procedures are required:
Shaft Modification (Mechanical Lock): You MUST cross-drill the motor shaft (1.5mm) to install a steel locking pin. This is the only way to safely anchor the rotor against high torque.
Mandatory Dynamic Balancing: 3D-printed rotors are DIY components and MUST be dynamically balanced before use. High-RPM rotation without proper balancing WILL lead to catastrophic structural failure (explosion). Use at your own risk.
Material Recommendation: Rotors should be printed in high-tenacity materials like Carbon Fiber Nylon (PA-CF) for structural integrity.
📦 WHAT’S IN THE BOX: Main Fan Shroud (Optimized versions for both Inrunner & Outrunner motors).
Complete set of Rotors (5, 7, 9, and 11-blade options).
Note: Drawed photo are similar for all edfs! So, except for 73 mm, here you can find the sames for all (from 83 to 138. Only 150 mm has originals rendering photos). I had made photos only for edf 73 printed, right now.
SAFETY INFORMATIONS:
WARNING!!
This object may cause seriously eyes injury without experience and balancing knowdlege! It's strickly avoid for beginners. Rotors run at high rpm and only experienced modellist must use it.
3D printing settings 0.4 nozzle. 6 perimeters for rotrs and for bodies. Supports for Arms and internal bodies (zigzag 7% density) Brim. max 40 mm/sec speed. No cooling.
Better to brush rotors with ciano glue after print and before balace.
