The Maschinengewehrkraftwagen (Kfz. 13), commonly known as the "Adler" (Eagle), was the first armored reconnaissance vehicle introduced by the German Reichswehr after World War I. Produced between 1932 and 1934, it was based on the civilian Adler Standard 6 car chassis and was primarily intended for training and gaining experience in armored car design.
