There are moments in life when you feel like you’re standing at the very edge - between what was and what will be. The wind is strong, the future is vast, and everything feels uncertain. And yet… there is still light in the window.

“Shelter at the Edge” is not just a seaside scene. It is a quiet metaphor. Two small houses facing the ocean remind us that even when the world feels overwhelming, we can build something steady. Something warm. Something that glows from within.

The layered depth of the waves, the distant hills, and the crescent moon create more than perspective - they create space for reflection. When illuminated, the box becomes a soft reminder: strength is not always loud. Sometimes it is simply staying, holding on, and keeping the light on.

💫Recommendations:

• Enable ironing for the layers if you want a smoother top surface.
• Print the first flat surfaces of the layers at a layer height of 0.2 mm (you can increase it later if desired).
• Print the flat layers of the back cover as solid to reduce light bleed-through.
• You can use any light source, but I use an 8 mm wide, 2-pin, 5V LED strip.
• You can buy L-shape connectors or use mine (no more than 10 of them).
• You can place the light source differently, but I glued it in a zigzag pattern using double-sided tape. If you want more diffused light, glue the strip to the side edges of the rear cover
