Moonberry's Strahd Von Zarovich - Vampire Lord
Feb 13, 2026 Update: This is my second stab at "Stahd Von Zarovich" using the character art reference sheet from Moonberry found here: https://www.reddit.com/r/CurseofStrahd/comments/1o1861s/
This was sitting on my todo list for a while and today I finished the model. The main changes are the bracers and fit of some parts. When I shared the V1 model someone called him fat and I felt personally insulted for poor Strahd so I may have thinned him up a bit - he's a shapechanger after all - Strahd can be whatever Strahd wants.
For printing I've added pre-supported files for resin. For FDM print him on his back at a -90 degree angle on the X axis and you should be good. Make photos on this are from the V1 version and I think the V2 version will be a bit better.
Below is the previous models post content.
This is a first stab at "Strahd Von Zarovich" using the character art reference sheet from Moonberry found here: https://www.reddit.com/r/CurseofStrahd/comments/1o1861s/strahd_character_art_reference_sheet_by_moonberry/ - Moonberry is an incredibly talented artist who gave permission to use these assets. This model is free for personal use - please don't resell it.
In my workflow there were parts of this model I had generated in Rodin (an AI tool) and brought in - most of the model was generated by hand, remeshed, borrowed from other models I've made, sliced diced, sculpted etc... etc...
Here is a gallery of my work on this model: https://imgur.com/a/tkHomBg - this was an all day affair and I really like to publish models in a short timeframe otherwise they can sit indefinitely. I do plan to work on a V2 of this model with some enhancements. Overall I learnt a TON working on this and I'm happy with the results - in a way it seems like a stepping stone to even better models.
