Slinky Eel is a unique flexi eel design featuring a spring-style body that gives it a smooth, elastic movement and a very distinctive look. The entire body behaves like a coil, making it both visually striking and fun to interact with.

The model includes two different sizes. Depending on the size, the eel is compatible with 6mm or 12mm eyes. You can use printed eyes or install glass eyes for a more realistic and expressive finish.

All parts are designed to print without supports. STL and 3MF files are included. Due to the spring-based structure, some specific printing considerations are recommended to achieve the best result.

🔧 Recommended 3D Printing Settings

🖨️ Layer height: 0.2 mm 🖖 Walls: 2 🔄 Infill: 15% 🚫 Supports: No 🧲 Brim: Yes

⚠️ Important Printing Notes

Reduce print speed to around 70 mm/s Ensure strong part cooling (fans at full power) If using an enclosed printer, make sure the chamber is well ventilated so the PLA cools quickly Applying glue to the build plate is recommended to ensure proper adhesion When removing the brim, carefully check that no sections of the spring remain attached Tested successfully with standard PLA Silk PLA is not recommended, as it lacks sufficient flexibility
