Stairs Collection 2 (DND / TTRPG)
👍 Don't forget to Like and Collect this, so you can easily find it later! ⭐ If you like my models and that I make random minis for people then come follow and support me on Patreon https://goto.adamnant.com/l/patreon?site=thangs&model=stairs2&cta=header - where you can ask me to make minis for you, get updates on my projects like gmbuddy.com and get access to exclusive minis for my Patrons.
I've included a couple of each of these here but I went a bit overboard so if you want the full set of 80 different stairs then you can grab them from my Patreon over here: https://goto.adamnant.com/l/pe-stairs2?site=thangs&model=stairs2&cta=teaser
These Patreon exclusive stairs are free (for now) but that might change later so if you like them then grab them while you can!
I've been working on a large castle project and as a part of this I made some tools to help me manage textures on objects. Recently I shared a bunch of textured baseplates using an earlier version of this. Today I've created some new textured staircases. My last set I made using onshape which is a precision CAD tool but this set was made exclusively using blender and some of these new extensions I've put together.
There are two main sets of stairs that I've put together today:
- Type S: stairs in a straight line
- Type U: stairs that curve back towards themselves
(Type L and Type T are still available in my previous stair collection - I might remake those here if there is interest)
Both sets of stairs are set to 75mm in height but you can scale these up or down to meet your specific height requirement. The thin stairs are a little wider and longer than 25mm so that a single miniature can fit comfortably on the step. The larger stairs are set to 50mm in width with the same length so that two minis can fit. The previous CAD version had more steps for a more natural stair look and a lip under the stair for a baseplate to sit in but I like the simplicity of this style.
I've created a bunch of textures for this new collection - for each type there are 5 categories so far:
- plain - untextured
- stone - slabs, cobblestone, river stone textures etc...
- wood - weathered planks and bark textures
- metal - corrugated and metal panel textures
- brick - assorted brick and plaster textures
I've included a couple of each of these here but I went a bit overboard so if you want the full set of 80 different stairs then you can grab them from my Patreon over here: https://goto.adamnant.com/l/pe-stairs2?site=thangs&model=stairs2&cta=teaser2

These are mostly supportless so you should be fine printing without supports - some may require minimal supports but depending on how dialed in your printer is you shouldn't have any issues going without. Since these are hefty terrain / prop pieces I wouldn't recommend printing these in resin. For FDM I recommend printing at 5% infill or less - they should be under 100 grams of filament at that rate and it should be fine for them to be mostly hollow - the bulk of the print time is going to be on the outer shell and texture / detail work.
I've completed my quest for 1000 models in 2025 so now I'm trying to decide whats next - I'm actively asking my Patrons what kind of models that they want to see. You can follow along with me on Thingiverse, Printables, Cults3d or join in on the discuss on Patreon here: https://goto.adamnant.com/l/patreon?site=thangs&model=stairs2&cta=footer (as well as get codes for exclusive downloads on Cults3d). If you have something that you need or a custom model like this that you want then let me know and let's make it!
