Another Adventure Time mini. This time it's BMO. Like the AMO model I've got BMO as a small (20mm base + 25mm height) creature. Proportionally this isn't super accurate as BMO would be much much smaller but going too small with these characters makes them much less printable.
For my process I borrowed parts from the AMO mini that I just made. I livestreamed my work but sadly the feed was frozen so no VOD or timelapses for this mini. I didn't have an AI base mesh for BMO so I just approximated as best I could - I think it's OK but not perfect but it's still pretty good.
For printing on FDM. Print as layer height low as you can 0.08mm or lower so keep the facial features and buttons etc... You can print BMO on their back just be mindful of supports when removing them as you could lose an arm or leg. You should be fine to scale this mini up as much as you want as a decoration or toy or w/e.
For Resin printing the standard -45 degree tilt and auto supports should work fine.
That's it for this BMO mini. Have fun!
I've completed my quest for 1000 models in 2025 so now I'm trying to decide whats next - I'm actively asking my Patrons what kind of models that they want to see. You can follow along with me on Thingiverse, Printables, Cults3d or join in on the discuss on Patreon here: https://goto.adamnant.com/l/patreon?site=thangs&model=bmo1&cta=footer (as well as get codes for exclusive downloads on Cults3d). If you have something that you need or a custom model like this that you want then let me know and let's make it!
