ACOUSTIC PROPULTION #3DPNSpeakerCover VIBRATING LOTUS SPEAKER COVER
#3DPNSpeakerCover Vibrating Speaker Cover that utilizes the bass of the speaker to vibrate.
When playing a song with a boosted bass, the inner petals of the flower will move in and out to the beat.
IMPORTANT: The mechanism revolves around the living hinges at the base of the petals that rest on the "surround" part of the speaker, I put in raisers because I saw that the surround was higher than the rim, however, the cover will not work as well if the plastic is not resting on it.
P.S. I do not know if the air vibration alone is enough to make this project work.
ASSEMBLY: I left several different stls in this submission for your ease of printing. I am not experienced with PETG filament however the more flexible the better for this project. (I used PLA in my prototype). DURING slicing, try to make the inner petals and tips as lightweight as possible.
This speaker cover does in fact work although it is still in development (I've only been working on this for 2 days)

I had the same idea of using the vibrations of the speaker to make an object move on my speaker cover. You can click on my icon if you would like to see mine.
If asked, I will create more intricate versions of this speaker cover, I found out about this competition only 2 days ago and have not created as beautiful a design as i have envisioned
I also have higher quality files of this design lol, I made this on tinkercad and their exporting feature makes the resolution pretty bad.
