Oh, I see. Thanks! When I place the 9 aircraft order shown above, should I reference the desired wingspan of each? Price adjustment for your extra time scaling?
I need some time to redo all the models and upload them again. Prices will change depending on the volume of plastic.
Just ordered 22 aircraft prints. 21 different types. Best place to submit desired wingspans? Best way to pay if any get more expensive as a result? I know the T38 will actually be slightly smaller (I think this is because the 3D model does not include the pitot boom).
I just went through them all. Seven I'd like different: The three with * are slightly larger than your usual print, the others smaller. *Waco CG-4 Hadrian 7.0in *MM X-24B 1.6in *Lockheed T-33 Shooting Star 3.2in MiG-29UPG Fulcrum 3.3in T-38 Talon 2.1in North American T-6 Harvard Mk-II 3.5in Mooney M20J 2.9in
If you want to change the size, it’s better to do it before placing the order. Once you place the order, Thangs automatically starts printing, and I can’t make any changes.
Thanks. Sorry for the bother...engineers<!>, right?
Order is canceled; I'll watch the sizes for updates, then order again.
I want to order the following in 1/144 (can they be adjusted to scale span shown, in inches?): Lockheed Model 10 Electra (span=4.6in) Republic F-105D Thunderchief (span=2.9in) Lockheed F-104 Starfighter (span=1.4in) North American F-100D Super Sabre (span=3.2in) McDonnell F-101 Voodoo (span=3.3in) MiG-21 Fishbed (span=2.0in) North American F-86D Sabre (span=3.1in) MiG-15 Fagot (span=2.8in) As well as the T-38 again (span = 2.1in) if it can be adjusted prior to print.
Can the scale be changed/adjusted at all? I ordered the T-38 in 1/100 and 1/144. Both are off a bit, and what I'm putting together needs to be more precise than that. The 1/100 is really closer to 1/95. The 1/144 is really about 1/137. So both 3D prints were large. T-38 wingspan is 25' 3", or 303 inches (770 cm) At 1/100 the wing span should be 3.03 inches (7.7 cm) not 3.2 inches (8.1 cm) At 1/144 the wing span should be 2.10 inches (5.3 cm) not 2.2 inches (5.6 cm)
All calculations were made based on the aircraft length (14,140 mm). Yes, I can adjust the model dimensions using the wingspan (7,700 mm) as the reference.
