EWJ Classic – 1/10 Scale Realistic 4WD Rock Crawler

The EWJ Classic is a 1/10 scale, four-link coil-spring suspension–based 4WD rock crawler designed for true scale realism. It utilizes a 1/18-scale metal drivetrain, delivering smooth driving performance while keeping the overall weight light. With a wheelbase of approximately 200 mm, the chassis achieves a compact yet well-balanced proportion.

Both the front and rear link rods and driveshafts use rear-length components to achieve the extended 200 mm wheelbase. For this reason, two sets of link rods and driveshafts are required for assembly. Since rear-length parts are not usually sold separately, it is recommended to purchase two drivetrain sets, use the needed parts, and keep the remaining ones as spare components.

The EWJ Classic is inspired by vintage civilian off-road vehicles, faithfully recreating their structure and character while optimizing each detail for RC performance. The hood, windshield, and tailgate can all open and lock just like the real vehicle. The battery can be easily installed by opening the bonnet, which is operated and secured through a hinge-and-magnet mechanism for smooth and stable action.

To maximize scale realism, the coil shocks are hidden inside the wheel housings. This design preserves the authentic silhouette and natural fender lines of the vehicle, though it slightly reduces the steering angle — a deliberate choice to enhance visual realism.

The EWJ Classic is more than just a model — it’s a hybrid-scale RC crawler that blends mechanical precision with classic proportions. The combination of a 1/18 drivetrain and 1/10 body delivers a unique driving feel and realistic appearance, allowing builders to experience true-to-life motion and style even in limited space.
