The Equine Dragon is an articulating dragon model that can both sit up and lay down! It prints in place and will only need supports under the head.

There are 2 versions for the Equine Dragon. Full model and separated model for larger printing or for printing on a smaller printer.

To assemble the separated version, you'll need to glue the peg into one of the legs, line up the tail with the body, insert the peg through the holes and then glue the peg into the other leg. I recommend doing a test fit before gluing the pieces together.

Use the test piece to help dial in your support settings for the head before printing the model. Make sure to use support blockers to block off everywhere except the head (it will mess up the articulating parts otherwise) and set support placement to "touching build plate."

Separated version was tested up to 133% Full version was tested down to 66%. I don't recommend going smaller then that on either version.

General Settings : ◽️ 3+ perimeters (the more the stronger it will be). ◽️ Inner before outer wall. ◽️ Slow down outer wall speed. ◽️ 0.2 maximum layer height. 0.1 for best detail. ◽️ 15%+ infill. ◽️ Enable bridging. ◽️ Make sure to have good bed adhesion or use a brim! Made for FDM printing.
