Introducing the next installment of Beardy's village! Beardy's Brownstone Manor!

Free for a limited time only!

This model makes use of Bambu Lab's Lamp Kit, but should accommodate any light source you have available to you.

This architecture is mostly found on the east coast in locations like New York and Boston. Designed to the same scale as my Cozy Cabin, this beast will impress anyone who comes to visit!

This is a big one. However, I did also upload a smaller version of it, in case you don't care about the scale to match the rest of the lamps in my collection.

Printing Instructions: Several components of this cabin utilize the "color swap" technique to mimic the capabilities of a multi-color printer. Anyone with a printer with pause capabilities can do color swaps.

The 3mf files provided were created using Bambu Studio and should have the following settings already configured.

  • Supports: None.
  • Some parts will use bridging and some sagging may be evident. However, when you glue in the windows and doors, that will all be hidden.

Doors and Windows:

  • Layer height: 0.1mm
  • Initial layer height: 0.1mm
  • If using a lighter color for the door, I recommend increasing top and bottom layers so light doesn't leak through, exposing the infill of the door
  • Ensure you add pauses and/or color changes in your slicer at certain layer heights to get the color effect you want.

Everything else:

  • Layer height: 0.2mm
  • Wall loops: 3
  • Brims: recommended for smaller parts like door knobs

For smaller parts, make sure you have your build plate nice and clean to avoid adhesion issues. Either clean it with an ammonia based cleaner like Windex or clean it with high quality dish soap and warm water. IPA also helps, but not guaranteed to work.

Assembly Instructions: Please refer to the provided PDF for instructions on assembly.

Thank you for your time and consideration on this matter.
