When I was little, we actually had a huge holly tree in our yard—taller than the house! It was visible right from my window (and blocked my entire view, which cast a spooky shadow at night when cars went by). I adored it… until I tried walking barefoot through the fallen leaves (ouch). It didn't work with flip flops on either. 😅
