Articulated Earless Monitor Lizard | Pre-Painted. Print in Place No supports
๐ฟ Bring the rainforests and riverbanks to life with this fully articulated Earless Monitor Lizard โ a rare reptile known for its sleek armor and serpent-like grace. Every segment flexes and wiggles naturally, showing off the rich textures and subtle folds that capture its wild charm.
Originally designed with fully 3D-printed eyes for a seamless sculpted look, this updated edition now includes an optional 6 mm glass-eye version ๐๏ธ. Though I initially avoided glass inserts to prevent a cartoonish effect, the new version turned out stunning โ adding a lifelike depth that enhances its mysterious stare.
โจ Glass eye sheet available to members for easy DIY eye printing and assembly.
Print in natural tones ๐ค๐ชถ like clay, sand, or stone โ or go bold with contrast colors โซโช to make its ridged scales pop.
๐งต Filaments Used: eSUN PLA+ Brown, Elegoo PLA Beige, and MatterHackers PLA Gray and Black.
๐จ Includes a pre-painted 3MF file for instant multicolor printing โจ, or print single-color and customize with your own paints for that true naturalist finish.
โ๏ธ No supports required. Just print, flex, and let your Earless Monitor slink into your collection with smooth, lifelike motion.
๐ฅ A mysterious little swamp dweller with calm confidence and ancient charm โ quiet, coiled, and utterly captivating.
