Articulated Gila Monster| Pre-Painted + Optional 6mm Glass Eye Version
Bring desert legends to life with bold black-and-orange patterns that mimic the real venomous reptile’s armored scales. Their articulated design lets them flex and curl naturally, showing off every ridge and segment in a way that looks amazing on display.
This beast is perched in a relaxed pose, perfect for showcasing its chunky, textured build. Print in fiery desert tones for maximum impact, or paint your own custom colorways to highlight the scales and stripes.
Comes with a pre-painted 3MF file for instant multicolor prints, or print in single color and add your own desert-inspired flair.
👀 Eye Note: These Gila Monsters use the same 6mm eyes as the Red-Eyed Crocodile Skinks. Use the eye sheet provided for members only to give your monster lifelike detail and personality.
No supports required. Just print, wiggle, and let your Gila Monster prowl across your shelf, desk, or habitat display.

Wow the extra detail on the eyes makes it look so good :)
Not sure If I printed the wrong model but my print doesn't have eyes that lay flat so I'm unable to attach a glass eye. The model has the eyes protruding but they printed black so it doesn't have that realistic look. How can I fix this? Any suggestions?
There should be another file in the downloaded folder called glass eyes that will have the correct holes to insert a glass eye.
Not a member, just bought this model and a few others. How do I do the eyes? Any particular set y'all recommend from amazon?
You can get any mix set on Amazon. However I also provide a printable eye sheet so you can make your own with glass domes.
Hey brother-- What color orange are you using here?
This is matterhackers orange pla, I actually have a lot I was printing hotwheel tracks and they matched great to the original color.
Also, any chance you'd make a prepainted eye version? my kids love the alligators and bearded dragons, I print them out at like 75% scale so they fit these little houses they have.
Awesome! LOL
