ICI ran a fleet of 40T bogie Caustic Soda tank wagons from the late-1930s until they were replaced by air-braked TTA designs from the mid-1960s.

Pilot holes (0.4mm) are provided for diagonal bracing rods made from handrail wire, etc. This model was originally designed for 5' 6" wheelbase diamond-frame bogies from the N Gauge Society. The bogie pivots are 3.75mm in diameter and 3mm deep. Bogie retaining pins and basic buffers are printed below the chassis. Suitable transfers are available from Cambridge Custom Transfers (Use Sheet BL106) or Fox Transfers. The NGS Chemical Tank Wagon Transfer Set NGST0370 contains many of the required markings.
