N Gauge Bogie Chlorine Tank Wagon
This model is based on wagons produced by L&Y and Standard Wagon in the late 1950s for Murgatroyd Salt and Chemical Works Ltd to carry liquid chlorine. Murgatroyd's was acquired by Fisons and the Distillers Company in 1954, with the latter becoming part of BP Chemicals in 1967. Over their lifetime, various liveries were carried.
Pilot holes (0.4mm) are provided for bracing rods made from handrail wire, etc.
This model is designed for 5' 6" wheelbase plate-sided bogies, as sold by the N Gauge Society, or similar. The bogie pivots are 3.75mm in diameter and 3mm deep.
