What's the best layer height for the eyes? 0.20 mm came out wonky
I print all my stuff at 0.16 layer height.
I will say this is a very difficult piece. I am going to try again but i have broken 2 of the heads that the eyes fit into. Any tips? I'm thinking 4 walls so the layers don't seperate and maybe more infill.
I would down scale the eyeballs and Eye rods by 2%. It sounds to me like your printer might be over extruding just a little bit. I have test printed this across four different printers to make sure the tolerances are correct they should snap into place with not too much force.
And once the eyeballs are installed into the holes they should move freely.
Sounds good. I will try again when I order more brown. It was more than likely over extrusion as I just had to tear that machine apart. Just finished putting it back together and is purring like a kitten. Thank you so much for your help with this. Oh just finished buffing the new dice mug today too I will try and post it tonight.
