Ripple Table Lamp – Beginner Friendly I made this lamp because I’ve always loved how a simple shape can turn into something almost sculptural with just a bit of texture. The idea of taking a basic cylinder and wrapping it in these flowing ripples felt like the perfect way to mix functional lighting with a little bit of art. When it’s lit up, the lamp throws out soft, shifting patterns that look amazing in any room.

Key Features It’s a true plug-and-play design. The socket holder is built right into the model, so you don’t need any extra parts or fiddly assembly. Just print it—no supports required—and drop in your bulb. I designed it to fit a standard A19 bulb, but the holder is flexible enough for other sizes if you’d like to experiment.

How to Use All you do is slide your bulb into the holder, plug it in, and enjoy the glow. The ripples really come to life once the light shines through, creating cozy shadows and a lovely texture on the walls.
