Printing tips: All the parts are already in the optimal orientation for printing!
Use normal supports for Frame Bottom and Rear Sight. Use tree supports for Frame Bottom, Stock, Nozzle and Scope. I recommend using brim for stability for Frame Bottom, Frame Top, Barrel, Scope, Stock and Firing Pin.
If you use Bambu Studio or OrcaSlicer, a handy print project file is included with the settings I used to print this!
Assembly: You'll need superglue and a small 5mm diameter spring 20-25mm long. See the included assembly video!

btw your tip is backward
It broke in those spots? 🤔 Printing slower and hotter can help with layer adhesion and durability, as well as drying the filament since it's old filament. 😅
Hi, this model looks awesome and printed flawlessly, but I'm having some issues with its performance. When I load a BB into the gun, it usually just falls out of the barrel as soon as I tip it downward. And when it does stay in the barrel, it shoots very weakly, sometimes it barely rolls out. Do you happen to know what the problem might be and how I could fix it? I'd really appreciate any help, as I'm sure it should be working better than this. Otherwise is refunding an option if nothing works?
The BB should be held in place by three small nubs inside the barrel after it's been loaded in. Did you file/sand the inside of the barrel? It's recommended to smooth out the inside of the barrel to improve performance, but maybe you accidentally filed the nubs down as well?
Of course if you can't get it to work as it should, refund should be possible, although I think you need to contact Thangs support for that. I hope it won't come to that though!
The only thing I did to it was add some lubricant to the mechanism, as it wasn't very smooth. Could that have been the problem? I'll be printing a new one without adding anything extra to see if it works.
Well, the BBs stay in the new one, and I think the barrel might be the reason the gun is weak. I tried shooting without the barrel, and it shot really well, though it looked pretty ugly. Do you have any suggestions for improving the barrel?
You can sand the inside of the barrel for any irregularities from printing. It needs to be very smooth to allow the BB to fly unimpeded.
I tried sanding it and now it works way better. Thank you so much for helping me to make this blaster work for me, and I'm sorry if I wasted your time. Either way have a good day and keep making great models!
Great to hear! You didn't waste my time, you're entitled to get help when dealing with my models! 🙂
It works, but when I add the barreI, it is very weak and often doesn't come out. The trigger also sometimes doesn't hold in place. Do you have any idea ow to fix this?, good modeI though
Use rolled sandpaper to smooth the inside of the barrel so the BB can fly out unobstructed by any printing artifacts. The BB should easily drop through the barrel.
File or sand the trigger latch so it has sharp corners, as well as the groove on the firing pin where the trigger latches. It helps with locking in place.
