Kawaii Rainbow Corvid (Crow/Raven) Flexi
Henloh, lovely beans!!
I wanted a model that wasn’t super realistic, but also not chibi, something right in-between for myself. We have been into Norse/Viking shows/stuff lately, and I really wanted to make a Huginn and Muninn pair (those are the red and black ones I did!) that would still match my magical, dreamy, super-cottage-core decor.
In Norse mythology, Huginn ("thought") and Muninn ("memory") are two ravens who fly across the world each day and report back to Odin. But fun fact: Odin actually worried they might not return. He once said: "Huginn and Muninn fly every day over all the world; I worry for Huginn, that he won’t return—but even more I fear for Muninn." 🖤 So even the Allfather had anxious thoughts~
So... I made these guys!! 🖤🌈 They’re very wiggly, and they’ve been flapping around my home for weeks now. They were a personal model, but I figured I should share them with you too!!
Their wings are super fidgety (in a satisfying way), and they can balance upright as per the photos if you adjust them just right.
I printed some in pastel rainbow and I love how they look. But they also look really cool in darker tones or metallics too (which was my original intention when I made these)—so feel free to play around with the vibe!
Hope you enjoy these li'l pals!! 🖤💖
Recommended Print Settings:
Layer Height: .16 ✨Infill: 15% ✨Supports: Not needed ✨Adaptive Layer Height recommended (but will slow print down) ✨Slow down first five layers as this print includes ball joints that require extra adherence to the build plate. Make sure your first layers stick adequately! ✨Pro Tip: If the first layers struggle to stick, try slowing down your first layers or increasing the bed temp slightly. ✨Tested to 70, but I don't recommend sizing down to 70 if the model is specifically for fidget purposes. It is functional but more poseable. At 100 percent size it is more loose and floppy, but at 70 the joints remain more in the position you pose them instead of flopping. Do not size down below 70 percent as the joints are small due to the detail of this model. The beak has an overhang so if you want a cleaner look you can paint on a support there but it is not necessary~
