Do you have a version of this tree as just a tree? Not the old man face and not the body?

Collin T

No but I could make one.

Also, I'm uncertain about licensing, but I want to slightly modify the model (something I've done to others for my needs) I want to insert 2 penny stack voids to weight it down( I pause half way up or whatever, the I insert the penny stack, then a little filler circle made of the filament) and then keep on printing.. I don't want to violate the licensing. Yours is the first memberShip I've ever joined.

That would be amazing. This is the coolest tree. I printed one, it failed in the last 4 hours (too much wiggle that tall --- my fault entirely) but it STILL looks amazing. How crazy! I've already got another one printing with the correct settings (and a higher res... Cuz I'm. Impatient) but I would friggin love a tree without the face (but with the dice hole/tower part).
What software do you use to design. You've got REAL skill!

How do you prevent failures? I've tried to different printers, run calibration before each print, slowed the speeds including bridges. I get one print fine and then it fails on the next print towards the top when it's almost finished. I don't want to do supports if I can avoid it. Are there better settings that I can use to prevent the failures?

Were you able to resolve this? I figured out I am better off placing it lengthwise along the y axis because when I put it lengthwish along x I get too much wiggle at the top. Also, I increased the zhop because I didn't want it bumping into the model and causing shifts. Lastly, I think I might try "avoid curled overhangs" also. I have a prusa mk3s and use prusa slicer, so ymmv.

You might want to add some additional wall layers. You're probably printing it two or three at default if you add one or two you might see better performance of it being stiffer as it prints. Especially if you're printing on a moving heatbed.

Does this need printed with supports? Hard to tell from the overhangs in the previews.

If your printer is decent at bridging no supports. I printed it without supports

Hi! Will the first version fit on a Bambu A1 mini (18cm)? We only have that printer, and it would be very helpful to know if the designs will fit. Thanks!

Yes. But you would have to change the Z scale only to 89%. to be clear this version dose not work as a dice tower, dice display only.

i bought this but the smaller version doesnt work as a dice tower? will the roller hold dice if its made to fit a1 size?

Have you tried this with 16mm dice? Asking for a friend.

Collin T

No I have not. You should be able to scale it to work if needed.

Thanks. Would you scale xyz equally or would you try to maintain some more z for the rolling function? Any other modifications recommended?
