I designed this hang-in planter pod after getting tired of the usual mess that happens when you overwater indoor plants. You know the deal—muddy puddles on your windowsill, or worse, root rot. So I built a sleek solution: a modern, minimalist hanging planter with a hidden twist-off plate to catch excess water right where it drains. Clean, simple, and super satisfying to use.

The pod prints support-free and is shaped with three smooth, arched layers for a fresh, architectural vibe. Size is 180x150mm

You’ll find four pre-sized holes that perfectly fit five-millimeter jute twine, but thinner cord works just fine too. And I’m throwing in an extra: a matching hook design that works with twine and fits most cylindrical bars or rods, so you can hang your planter with ease right out of the printer.

What You’ll Need:

• Jute twine or cord (around five millimeters diameter)
• Optional: a rod or hook base to hang from

• 3MF file for easy one-click printing

Printing Tips:

• No supports needed
• Designed with clean clearances for easy twist-off drainage
• Prints well in PLA, PETG, or even matte finish filaments for that modern touch
