These unique cars were used on the NASA Railroad during the Shuttle Program to transport Solid Rocket Booster (SRB) skirts. Recently I was able to see the prototype preserved at the Gold Coast Railroad Museum in Miami, and was happy to learn that the museum staff were already fans of my model!
