Wall Planter with Hidden Drip Tray - LG02
I’ve partnered with FORMAstudios to completely rework my hidden drip tray planters and make some big improvements to both the design and how they function.
The most noticeable change is that there’s no longer a visible seam between the pot and the drip tray. The pot now prints as a single piece, and the drip tray is tucked into the underside, locking into place with a simple quarter turn.
Another big upgrade is that both the small and large planters now use the same wall mount. My original versions required different mounts for each size, so this makes things way easier.
I’m already working on a bunch of new shapes and patterns, and I’ll also be updating some of my most popular designs to match this new system.
Let me know what you think!
Supports None needed!
Scaling I wouldn't recommend scaling the wall mounted versions since they perfectly fits the Command Strips or #8 - #10 x 1" screws and anchors. The tabletop versions can be scaled however you like.
Orientation
- Everything prints upright with its bottom on the build plate
- The wall mount prints flat with the sliding dovetail facing up
Print Settings
- .2mm layer height

- 2 walls
- Set bridge flow to 1.6 for drip tray and wall mount

The tabletop version seems to be trying to print some kind of internal ledge about a quarter of the way up the outer shell (possibly for the for the drip tray) which scars the outer design and fails internally...any idea why this is happening?
