Wall Planter with Hidden Drip Tray - LG01
I’ve partnered with FORMAstudios to completely rework my hidden drip tray planters and make some big improvements to both the design and how they function.
The most noticeable change is that there’s no longer a visible seam between the pot and the drip tray. The pot now prints as a single piece, and the drip tray is tucked into the underside, locking into place with a simple quarter turn.
Another big upgrade is that both the small and large planters now use the same wall mount. My original versions required different mounts for each size, so this makes things way easier.
I’m already working on a bunch of new shapes and patterns, and I’ll also be updating some of my most popular designs to match this new system.
Let me know what you think!
Supports None needed!
Scaling I wouldn't recommend scaling the wall mounted versions since they perfectly fits the Command Strips or #8 - #10 x 1" screws and anchors. The tabletop versions can be scaled however you like.
Orientation
- Everything prints upright with its bottom on the build plate
- The wall mount prints flat with the sliding dovetail facing up
Print Settings
- .2mm layer height
- 15% grid infill | 15% gyroid infill for wall mount
- 2 walls
- Set bridge flow to 1.6 for drip tray and wall mount
Filament
Colors I used:
- Terracotta
Hardware
- #8 - #10 x 1" screws and anchors
- 3M Medium Picture Hanging Command Strips
Filament and non 3D printed items for this model can be found on my Amazon Storefront, linked here: https://linktr.ee/loftedgoods

really nice pot plant but how do I modify the holder part where you put the command strips. My command strips are quite thin so I need about 0.8mm height while it's currently around 3.56. I tried to do it within Bambu studio but could not. Alternatively I don't mind to just have it flat
The holders seem to be designed for the velcro type Command strips. If you look at the Amazon store link, specifically the videos, you will understand. They are much thicker than the plain strips.
Also, I found that I had to print the wall mount at 101% (under materials, adjust for shrinkage) or the dovetail join was too tight. Still had to sand/deburr a bit, but not nearly as much!
