3D model description
It has been so fun working through the art, styling and developing the personality of this little character. The big floppy ears, looped tail, and oversized hands and feet really make it such a joy to play with. I hope you all delight in "monkeying" around with this model ... and discovering lots of fun ways to pose and hang it, hahaha. This character also STANDS!
This Flexi Monkey is an articulated "mostly" print-in-place model that needs NO supports. I say "mostly" because the tail prints separately and slides in and locks. This model is scalable, but If you print 50% or smaller, you may need a dot of glue for the tail. The links are quite small at 50% and below.
Included are 6 files:
- Monkey 3mf project file
- Monkey Body STL
- Monkey Tail STL
- Monkey Tree Top
- Monkey Tree Bottom
- Banana
Also Optimized for AMS, meaning if you are using a Bambu or Prusa with multiple colors, you should easily be able to use the fill tool for coloring. I have added a 3mf as well for convenience!
Like with all my Flexi's, I went through many iterations to make sure it was strong, and easy to print without supports.
Please feel free to share images of your prints on this page, I would love to see 'em.
Thank you.

3D printing settings Easy Print
- No Supports (adding supports will hinder functionality)
- Mostly Print-in-place (tail prints separately and pops in)
- STL and 3MF files are included. * If you use the 3mf file, please remember that it is a painted project file for your convenience. You must check your material/printer/settings to make sure it works correctly for your printing project.
- I print with 3 walls, 15% infill/gyroid, .12 or .16 layer height for quality.
- As usual, make sure you have good adhesion, especially for the mini versions. I like to use a glue stick.
- Gradient PLA works well with this model Affiliate link to my supplies used in the photos above can be found here: https://www.amazon.com/shop/flexifactory
