Simple and elegant stacking containers inspired by Hanami, the Japanese Spring Festival celebrating the blooming of cherry trees. Check out our Cherry Blossoms Collection for additional sizes and companion products.
The design is based on the Jubaco, the traditional Japanese stacking boxes, usually made of lacquered wood and used to carry sushi or other foods. The L50 size is deep enough to also work well as a bowl or centerpiece. The convenient inner bins are great for sorting and organizing your belongings, from jewelry to makeup or craft/hobby supplies. They can be combined with any of the additional sizes, which you will find in the Cherry Blossoms Collection.
Objects in the photographs were printed on a standard desktop 3D printer, without secondary operations. The stripes in some of the photographs were achieved by switching materials during printing.
Specifications and Recommended 3D Printing Settings
Nozzle: 0.4 Layer: 0.2 Supports: YES Scalable: Yes. If scaling partitions, it is not recommended to scale them down by more than 60% to avoid the walls from becoming too thin. Partitions should also be scaled down ~2% more than the container to make sure they still fit properly. Tested with: PLA
