Anubarax: The Shadow of Death

In the world of Arcane Animus: Echoes of the Ancients, where ancient myths and legends come to life, lies a mystical realm of wonder and discovery. This is one of the earliest generation models from my project, featuring a unique creature inspired by mythology.

Model Details:

Type: Elemental Avatar Creature Element: Darkness Deity: Anubis (Egyptian Mythology) - God of the Dead, associated with Anubarax's connection to death and the afterlife.

Description: A sleek, bipedal jackal-like creature with a dark, shadowy coat that absorbs light. Its body is lean and agile, allowing it to move with silent, stealthy grace. Its glowing blue eyes seem to pierce through the darkness, instilling fear in those who see them.

Size: Roughly the size of a small adult human.

Appearance: A sleek and mysterious creature, covered in a dark, shadowy coat. Its glowing blue eyes seem to pierce through the darkness, instilling fear in those who see them.

Abilities:

  • Shadowmeld: Anubarax can blend seamlessly into the shadows, becoming nearly invisible. This ability allows it to stalk its prey undetected and strike from the darkness.
  • Deathly Aura: The presence of Anubarax exudes an aura of death and despair, weakening the resolve of those who encounter it and causing a sense of dread.
  • Silent Strike: Anubarax can move with such stealth that its attacks are nearly imperceptible until it's too late. This ability makes it a deadly predator in the night.
  • Necrotic Bite: Anubarax’s bite carries a necrotic energy that drains the life force of its victims, weakening them and hastening their demise.

Special Notes: Anubarax is often seen as a harbinger of death. Its presence is believed to serve as a guide for the souls of the dead, ensuring that they reach the afterlife.

  • Habitat: Anubarax is native to places associated with death, such as ancient tombs or battlefields.

  • Energy Source: Anubarax's body relies on its connection to the darkness and the power of death. Its presence is sustained by the fear and dread it inspires in others.

  • Behavior: Anubarax is a mysterious creature, often encountered in places associated with death. Its appearance is seen as a sign that death is near, and those who encounter it rarely escape unscathed.

Release Notice: I'm excited to share this early generation model with you for free! However, please note that most of these models have undergone significant updates and remodels. I've opted to release the originals as a way to share my creativity and showcase the unique aspects of each creature.

Print Instructions: Organic supports and 0.16mm or finer layers recommended. Take care when removing supports around thinner parts. I suggest adding a print modifier to the legs to increase the infill to help it stand. I used around 30% on the legs and 8-10% on the rest.
