Fly trap for water cooler bottles.
I'd printed a few other fly trap models, such as the ones designed for a soft drink bottle. While they work pretty well, they all had the same problem: they're not big enough! I live in a rural area where the flies can get pretty crazy, so wanted something that could pack a bit more of a punch. And then my gaze fell on an empty water cooler bottle…
It's designed to press-fit into the top of those big plastic bottles you use on a cooler. I've tested it on the 15 litre Neverfail and 12 litre Aqua To Go bottles. As you have to top up the water every once in a while I've designed the top to screw off, so you don't have to remove the whole thing from the bottle to easily pour in a little more water.
As it's going to live outside and probably in direct sunlight I recommend using PETG or another UV stable filament.
