Y Ddraig Goch. Welsh Dragon - Articulated
In Welsh, the dragon is commonly referred to as "Y Ddraig Goch", which literally translates to "the red dragon".
Articulated
A model i made a couple of months ago but never got round to releasing.
For this model i wanted to stay away from cute to more closely resemble the welsh dragon depicted on the Flag. so the dragon incorporates the horn, tongue and twisted tail details.
print in place moveable wings similar to the baby ryuu dragon.
the wings need supports around the tips to prevent the moving during printing.
Even with supports in place, good adhesion is vital in this area. To avoid fails i strongly recommend a touch of glue.
The rest of the model prints without supports
As a side note i recommend Geetech JT16 bought on amazon. it is my go to for glue.

I think there might be an issue with this model, the wings seem fused in place and not cant be freely moved like the Ryuu dragon, both wings snapped close to the ball joint on 4 seperate prints.
hmm really, i printed a few with no issue. have you changed any settings or scaled?
my print came out fine, I can report. Some of the supports on the other joints & legs were a bit of a challenge to remove, but that was simply a slicer & new printer issue for me, I presume. PS my (Welsh) wife loved Y Ddraig Goch, it's a great design!
