Multiboard Ryobi BCL14181H charger 13mm Flat T-bolt mounting bracket

This is a sturdy Multiboard mounting bracket for a Ryobi single battery charger (model BCL14181H). The battery charger has mounting holes 105mm apart and the posts on this model, although small, are just about strong enough to hold it if you print it on its side. I used 20% Gyroid infill and it seems pretty strong. I found that the circles aren't quite circular when printing on its side so it's worth some cleanup with a deburring tool and a test fit of the T-bolts before mounting it.

If you find it breaks, I am considering another version that uses heat set inserts and short M5 flat-head bolts to make it stronger. That will probably be the next version if anyone's interested!

This version uses 13mm T-bolts to attach to the pegboard holes in MultiBoard. I was inspired by a model I found for a different charger with push-fit attachments (https://www.printables.com/model/772776-multiboard-ryobi-fast-charger-mount) and I wanted something for my specific charger with a sturdier mounting method.

It was a good idea, I printed it in PETG but both pegs broke while I was inserting the charger. Maybe a better solution would be to put heated inserts in the pegs location and simply add screws for the charger to hang. But thank you for the model.

Thanks for your comments. Did you print it on its side? I found that the pegs were weakest when I printed it flat because the layer lines are on the same plane as any stresses, and broke a few when I did test prints!

I was always concerned about the long-term strength of those pegs. I'll work on an improved version to make it stronger, and when I have something, I will post it here. I was hoping to create something that didn't need extra hardware, but sometimes, plastic itself isn't enough!
