- Do not change the orientation of the parts.
- I printed with PLA at 0.2mm/layer.
- Use high-quality PLA - avoid matte PLA as it is not very flexible, especially for the spring. **- Let the parts cool down well before assembling everything – if you’re in a hurry, place them in the freezer before assembly – assembling with hot parts and stressing the spring and trigger will alter the tolerances – don’t do it. **

Sick
I see you have the same problem with 5 like me. Any solution?
Great model!
I understand this doesn't pretend "to be" a real 6-sided dice, but the common practice is to make opposite sides have sum of 7 (1+6, 2+5, 3+4), something that could have been replicated on this model too :)
I had an idea similar to this using bearings and a different triggering mechanism. Yours is much simpler and just as effective! Way to go!
Sweet
I ended up a little to close to the bed, no chamfers on the bottom side made that problematic, as the dice outline is hardly visible in parts and the spring required some cutting.
Designers: Chamfer your first layers, goddammit!
I think I might remix this...
Hello, thank you for your feedback. The chamfer here is not feasible, especially on the spring, which has a thickness of only 0.8mm. If you print too close to the bed, you'll obviously have assembly issues. I recommend calibrating the printer properly to avoid the elephant's foot effect on the prints. Remixes are not allowed in any case.
This thing is magical. I love it. Thank you!
I’m not sure if I did something wrong but the push buttons gap seems too small for the trigger to be inserted into it. Should I not use 17.5 PLA for this print?
