To celebrate the launch of "The Squeaker!", a fully 3D printable squeaker by SpoolDesigns, I sculpted a rubber duck to turn into a squeaky TPU duck!
Instructions 1. Download & like "The Squeaker!" or "The Squeaker! Mini"
- Print in PLA: Follow the instructions closely to print out the Reed & Squeaker Tube parts and carefully assemble The Squeaker! and test for sound.
2. Download & like TPU Duck see notes below
- Print in TPU Use the 3MF file to print the duck
3. Share your print as a make to be entered into the weekly Thangs Maker Showcase for a chance to win gift cards!
4. Comment what squeaky toy you'd like to see next!
5. Connect with me on social media! If you share your print on social media, please tag me!
Notes: Make sure to click on "Download All" to get the files in the original file formats.
- The 3MF file is configured to be compatible with "The Squeaker!" Make sure to print this duck in TPU!
- The STL file is included for your regular non-squeaky printing purposes.
Print settings for the TPU Duck:
- Infill: 0%
- Walls: 3
- Seams: I've test printed 2 with random and 2 with back. The ducks with random seams squeak a little better, but don't look as good as the ones with the back seams in my opinion. Nearest looks like a good compromise between the two I've tried. Leave a comment on which seam settings you decide on and what you think!

So fun! Thanks for making and sharing! π§‘π
That is awesome! Great workπ
Thank you!
I loaded it in cura but the hole is closed at the bottom? Am I supposed to puncture it at the end? It doesn't make any sense. Even the model here looks closed. How do I insert the Squeaker? And yeah, I downloaded the 3mf version.
Hmm, I haven't tried Cura before.
Did you use the "Download All" option to get the original 3MF file? Sometimes choosing another option converts the STL, which wouldn't work in this case.
