Instructions Hardware Filaments

Bambookends! - Intermediate

It includes pens, highlighters, a post it note dispenser, and bookmarks. All the segments are screwed together so you can customize it however you want! This was made in collaboration with Elle Stvdio.

To make the pens, order the Pilot G2 Gel ink Refills: . You'll just need to insert them into the Pen shoot, and give it a few strong taps on a table to get them seated.

For print settings, open the 3mf file, and you will see all the settings, and orientation i recommend for printing!

This model was a collaboration with Elle Stvdio! Check out his Thangs Page Here

Can you please add 2 built-in magnets to each half of the pot to keep pot together when used as one.
I love this design! I got in some translucent green and wanted to try a design on the pot! I’m very happy with how it turned out!
Made one of these for the director's desk at a local library. Cicla antibacterial Verde/Amarillo PLA layer-swapped for the bamboo, California Filament Chocolate Brown PETG for the dirt, PolyMaker Orange Marble PLA for the pot. Bit more work than the Aloe pens, but more variety and even more rewarding!
Looks awesome but some of the bamboo shoots don't fully seat because the holes aren't over the gaps in the pot. I there an updated dirt to line up the holes better?

I finally decided to print the bambookends! I've been in love with this design for months now, and it's actually what got me into 3d printing! I have a weird obsession with only writing with G2 pens, so imagine my delight when I saw the refills this needed! Since I only had access to my makerstudio's printer, everything was printed in a single color, and I painted my own little touches!

Finally made one of these! This one will be for me and my desk! Can't lose my pens if they are in a cute pot!

The lengths I love
Love the caps
Perfection
Had to set my support angle to 75 to get Cura to generate supports only on the bottom of the pot. That's a pretty big stretch to go without supports but apparently everyone else does it no problem 🤷 Also I can't get over the irony of having to destroy 7 perfectly good highlighters to make 5 novelty ones, lol. Neat though innit!?

Love how the polymaker brick marble came out for the terracotta pot!
Repost for the giveaway, made for my sister for her birthday! Turned out great, I didn’t use supports for the pot and used the provided 3MF file for most of the parts.
