This is the Filament Friday Cura profile for the K1 and K1 Max. This will allow you to use the features of Cura with your K1 or K1 Max. This is still a beta and still being worked on but it can be used to make your own custom profiles.
You can import the profile (requires a Creality Machine profile) or just open the project file to load both the profile and the machine profile into Cura.

Please Chep, keep working in K1 series, I have a K1C and I can't print with the same quality as with your Ender 3 friday profiles on my first Ender 3 printer. Please, don't leave this profile in beta status, this project regards a final version. Thanks for all your work!
Thank you.
Hi thank you for the Cura profiles. Imported the K1 Max Profile .3mf and I wanted to compare print times by slicer. Cura is telling me 17 hours 26 minutes for a project and Orca is telling me less than 4 hours.Thats a huge difference. It seems the speeds are not increased for the K1 Max. Just by changing inner and outer walls speeds I was able to get it to drop from over 17 hours to over 11 hours. I guess I need to manually match the settings for a fair comparison.
This profile worked excellent for my Ender 3 V3 KE, only modification I made was to match creality's line width and added a 0.1mm horizontal expansion (reduce fusing), and Matched G-Code to Creality Print. Cura Normally shows about 2 minutes longer, but less filament overall. Creality Print just was missing the mark with customization, Cura also has the add-ins which feels essential at this point. I think Creality focused too much on look and feel rather than functionality. Thank you so much, my machine finally feels dialed in.
edit: one thing I changed is on the machine profile end GCODE as my build plate wasn't dropping after the print. removed everything and just added "END_PRINT" has been working well with my K1. I slice with cura and your profile then import the gcode into creality print for one click printing and monitoring.
Crashes Cura when I try to open it
something is wrong with the infill line width. the settings look normal, but the infill line is looking like it is 200% wide
such talent.. "said in a sarcastic tone"
