this would be really cool if it was compatible with gridfinity

I had bed adhesion problems with the base part, where the modeled-in-supports would break loose. I added some shapes/material in Prusa Slicer to increase adhesion surface area and strengthen the supports. These print fine now, and it only adds a few minutes to the print.

Really nice design, impressive display of mechanical design and additive manufacturing problem solving!

Also the receiver support piece you show in the video is not actually part of the print. So maybe you updated that part? Printed fine though.
I really like the print. Fun to use.

oh wow, thank you for telling me. I totally missed that. Will repost it. I am surprised you could print it without support. Well done. And, thank you again.

Oh, so sorry, to you and everyone who has downloaded it already. I just added the receiver part. Please download again. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.

Works as expected. Printed good. One of the built in supports would detach during the print. However, it didn't cause any issues. I printed in different colors and noticed that some PLA colors from Inland wouldn't print as the end part of the receiver wouldn't print cleanly. I think this has to do more with my filament than the print profile.

The base failed on me three times. The built in support keeps failing to print correctly and detach as it should. I was able to get the third try to work. I put some little brims on just the support pieces. Worked great however it is too short for any of my USB stick. I have Scandisk cruisers and they are 22mm too long for this print. My other scandisk does not fit either, 11mm too long, so you might want to increase the height some. Only thing I had that fits is a USB A to C adapter.

Actually, can you email me "pdb6251" at gmail.com and I will send you a taller version for you to test?

Great feedback. Thank you. I will make a modified one that is taller for you and post that ASAP.
