This Flexi Skeleton Velociraptor is an articulated "mostly" print-in-place model that needs NO supports. I say "mostly" because the head prints separately, and then you just snap it on.

Easy Print

-No Supports (adding supports will hinder functionality)
-Mostly Print-in-place (head prints separately and pops in)
-15% infill gyroid
-I always like to use 3 walls
- .16 layer height or better suggested
-Make sure you have good adhesion. I always use a glue stick.
-Gradient PLA works great

To put the head on,
set the "Head Top" onto the "Head Bottom", and press down. You will hear it snap on. Then Press the entire head onto the ball joint on the neck. Once in place, it's best not to try and remove it.

Go BIG or go home! the bigger the better for this model, but If you are printing small, I suggest going with the straight version or you might get a little lockup in the tail. I don't suggest going under 60%.

What do you do when you can't figure out how to make a Flexi Brachiosaurus neck that's also poseable? Well...you engineer a new mechanic. 🦾

After doing a crazy amount of test prints getting that neck just right, I couldn't be happier with the results. The shorter back legs and more upright head position differentiate the Brachiosaurus from the Brontosaurus, and makes it the largest of the Sauropods! I have to admit I had to research a bit to learn about the differences hahaha.

As usual, I created two head versions (with and without the eye), a stand, and since this Dino is an herbivore, A little branch it pulled from a tree. Keep your eyes open for the XXL post coming Wednesday. 👀

When Putting the neck together, make sure you separate the large and small joints first. Pay attention to the slot orientation, and snap together 4 large on the bottom, and 4 small on the top.

*Caution: Just like building blocks, they can be hard to get apart once you snap them together.

Thank you to all of you who suggested the Parasaurolophus! It took me a bit of time to noodle the beautiful crest, which is such an important part of its character. My wife keeps on calling her Diva... names after Diva Plavalaguna from Fifth Element 🤣

As usual, I created two head versions (with and without the eye), a stand, and since this Dino is an herbivore, A little prehistoric broccoli. I have also added an XXL/Cut Version that needs to be glue together.

Included in two Zip Files: Extract each fully for all parts.
- Stand, Accessories, snap on head with eyes and without eyes
- XXL Version is cut and must be super glued together. Scale all parts equally before printing.

While removing it from the plate, please be careful not to push or pull it from the spines, they may break off.

To put the head on, simply lay the Dino on its belly, set the head in place and press down firmly. You will hear it snap on. (I created little notches that help guide the head in place.) Once in place, it's best not to try and remove it.

If you are not using the included .3mf, simply scale up each .stl to as large as your build plate will allow. just make sure all stls fit to the desired scale before you start printing.
