Flexible Checkered Napkin
A plaid napkin came to mind for the Printed Fabric contest.
It can be used as a coaster for a cold drink 🍺.
The base is a modernized version of the flexible brick I made earlier.
This model is intended for printing using the AMS/ACE system, BUT if you don't have multi-color printing and want to, you can manually change the filament on your 3d printer.
Also, I colored the bottom layer like a chessboard.
For multi-color printing, I added 3mf files for Bambu Studio. Alternatively, you can manually load the Base_9x9_wm.stl and top_9x9.stl files into the slicer as a single object consisting of multiple parts. After that, in the "Objects" tab, change the color to the desired one.
The Louis Vuitton version is printed similarly 👑.
As you can see, the main color is dominant in the final model.
Considering this, you can make a red napkin with white stripes or a white napkin with red stripes 🪄
I also made a 15x15 version and tried to print it at 75% scale, the result is successful, the links did not fuse together 🙌.
