Beetles & Spring Flowers [Collab x BuckleNShackle]

Beetles & Spring Flowers [Collab x BuckleNShackle]

Henlo beans!! 💖 I have a special exclusive release for you today!!

This month I teamed up with the wonderful BuckleNShackle (James), and honestly this collab was SO much fun to work on!! Probably one of my favourite ones ever, and I am sooo excited to share these at an upcoming festival I will be at (my first one in a very long time!!)

We decided to work on the flowers together instead of splitting up separate models, and I absolutely loved doing it that way. It was so fun to turn little bits into a finished product together, and something I rarely get to do in collabs!! I blendered up the petals, pots, and leafy bits, and then James worked his CAD magic, edited it to make it work perfectly print in place and turned everything into an amazing print-in-parts bolt!!

He also designed the cutest ever spinners with ladybugs and beetles on them, and I was so awed when I saw them!! They looked SO adorable and accurate to the 3d versions of the ladybugs and it made me so happy to see them print out that way!!

He even turned the flower petals into spinners, which means the flowers are fidgets too!!

Seriously, please give him some love for his amazing CAD skills. Watching him take all of the pieces and engineer them into a functioning design was so cool. He even made two different versions of the top of the bolt, so you can put your flower straight up, or have a front view of it!

To go along with the flowers, I also made six little Mini Bean beetles! 🪲💖

BeetlePack2.pngEach beetle has optional magnet versions, and James added magnet spots into the center of the flowers as well. That means you can swap beetles around, display them on different flowers, or arrange your little beetle garden however you'd like~

We also made a little sprout storage pot! The storage pot and regular flower pot are interchangeable, so you can either use it to store your beetles, display them, or swap things around depending on how you want your garden set up 🌱

Buggy-Collab6.pngI had such a blast working on this set and I hope you all love these little beetle friends as much as I do 🥹

And if you haven't checked out BuckleNShackle before, definitely go take a look!! His fidgets are incredibly popular at markets (from personal experience when I used to do them!!), and he does an amazing job designing them. He is genuinely one of my favorite designers to work with 💖

As a bonus, I also included this Bug Party Sticker to get us in the spring vibes!!

FUN FACTS

🪲 Ladybugs are actually beetles, not bugs!

🪲 Hercules beetles are among the strongest insects in the world and can lift many times their own body weight.

🪲 Diving beetles carry bubbles of air underwater so they can breathe while swimming.

🪲 Rhinoceros beetles get their name from the large horn on their heads.

🪲 Stag beetles use their oversized jaws to wrestle other males.

🪲 May beetles are sometimes called June bugs depending on where you live.
