Keep your fidgets spinning without waiting for a hardware delivery! The SKS.3D.WS Printable UR188 Bearing is a fully 3D-printable replacement bearing designed specifically for our line of haptic fidget toys and spinners (such as the Nano Spinner).

If you don't have a metal UR188 bearing on hand or want a completely 3D-printed EDC setup, this file provides a perfect, high-precision alternative.

Important Note: This printable bearing is designed and tested strictly as a replacement for 3D printed fidget toys. It is not designed or tested for use in yoyos.

TWO STYLES INCLUDED

Depending on your printer's precision and your patience for assembly, we've included two distinct versions of the bearing:

1. Print-in-Place Version
  • The Quick Fix: Prints as a single, fully assembled part.
  • Spin Performance: Not as "spinney" as the modular version due to built-in layer clearances, but it requires zero post-processing or assembly.
  • Best For: Quick testing or high-convenience fidgeting.
2. Two Half Rings Version
  • The High-Performance Choice: Prints as separate inner and outer rings with distinct rolling elements.
  • Spin Performance: Much more "spinney" and smooth because the parts print with zero inter-layer fusion.
  • Assembly: Requires a bit more effort to snap together, but the reward is a significantly longer, more satisfying spin.

PRINT INSTRUCTIONS

Because bearing tolerances are incredibly tight, you must print with high-precision settings.

  • Initial Layer Height: Exactly 0.1mm for a perfect first layer and minimal elephant's foot.
  • General Layer Height: Exactly 0.1mm for the entire print. This ensures the internal rolling tracks are smooth enough to spin freely.
  • Walls: 3–4 perimeters minimum for maximum structural integrity.
  • Infill: 100% (Solid) recommended for the rolling elements and rings to ensure they don't deform under pressure.
