Hey Rebels!

I’ve heard the feedback about “too many turtles” and “not enough variety,” and I want to respond openly.

Turtles are part of my brand and will always have a place here; they’re something I genuinely love creating. That said, there has been variety added over the past few months, including traditional critters, dragons, home designs, collaborations, and themed pieces. Not every design will resonate with every person, and that’s okay.

My goal is to create a balanced mix moving forward, keeping the consistency that makes Rebel Alicorn recognizable, while continuing to expand themes and ideas. Some months may lean one way more than another depending on collabs, votes, or storytelling arcs, but overall variety is something I’m intentionally working on.

Charlie is the beginning of the Turtle Emotions collection — or as I like to call them, the Emoturtles.

Turtles bring joy to so many people, and that’s exactly what I hope to do with my art. Art is meant to spark imagination, to make you wonder, to feel something. Sometimes it may be criticized, but the message is still strong.

Everyone’s art is different. We all have our own styles, our own likes and dislikes — and that’s what makes creativity so powerful.

At the end of the day, art is about expression, connection, and bringing a little more joy into the world.

I am still finishing up two voted in designs from November. I want them to be perfect, and I changed the way they look again. My goal is that they will be released to you this month.
