Happy Festivous!
For those who’ve been celebrating all the wonderful December holidays, wishing you all the best, may your days be bright, a little rebellious, and full of small joys, like a crate of citrus sunshine shared at just the right moment.
Historically, oranges were given at Christmas because in the 18th and 19th centuries, they were rare winter luxuries in much of Europe and North America, imported from warmer regions at great cost. Placing a single orange in a stocking symbolized generosity and good fortune, offering a taste of sweetness and sunlight during the coldest, darkest days of the year.
Wishing you all the best rest of your week! I will be back with more fun next week.
