Model of a clamshell bucket in HO scale in 2 positions, open and closed. This particular bucket is about as tall as a person (1.74m, almost 6ft), and 1 metre (over 3ft) wide, and fits small to medium-sized cranes. In reality it would grab about 2 tonnes of sand, gravel, mud or whatever it is tasked to move. This model could be used for larger N or TT scale cranes, and of course you can scale it to fit any application you need.
